Check your CNAME record

The most common reason verification fails is an incorrect CNAME record. Verify that:

  • The CNAME Value is exactly strmlinks.com (no trailing slash)
  • The CNAME Name matches the subdomain you entered (e.g., go for go.yourdomain.com)
  • There is no conflicting A record for the same subdomain

Check DNS propagation

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. Use a tool like dnschecker.org to see if your CNAME has propagated worldwide.

Cloudflare users

If your domain is on Cloudflare, make sure the CNAME record is set to DNS Only (grey cloud icon), not Proxied (orange cloud). The orange cloud can cause verification to fail.
